The journey of a counselling process is based upon the therapeutic relationship. We would work together through your difficulties with understanding, trust and empathy. No judgement will be placed upon you whilst we explore your inner self to create a deeper understanding. The aim is to offer some relief with a feeling of satisfaction in order to make life more pleasurable, create stronger healthy relationships or just a happier sense of self.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or a fixed agreed length of time which may be short or long term work, (short term counselling is often described to be up to about 12 sessions). The time scale of counselling can be dependent on your time available to you, the cost or the presenting problem. This would be discussed in our assessment together.
My Professional Body is the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Practice.
